MISSION -- To promote the creation of 3D and Multi-disciplinary Art

Our ARTIST RESIDENCY AND FACILITY SHARING PROGRAM is designed to encourage and assist artists to realize new projects and ideas. It is open to working (emerging & established) 3D and Multi-disciplinary artists who want to experience living & working in a New England granite quarry setting. We anticipate artists inspired by this environment, intensely creating their new artwork and conducting intellectual dialogue with other fellow artists. Our facility is open from May to November; the period of artist residency varies from two months to six months.

Our Ground is a 12-acre old granite quarry surrounded by beautifully maintained trailed Town forest and Recreation Park with weekly outdoor concerts and culture program. The facility includes a 100'x50'x24'H building equipped with industrial electricity, water and machinery such as compressors, lifts, bobcat, welder, electric & hand tools. Artists can choose to work in open-air areas, in the woods or under a canopy. In the middle of the land, there is a 1.5 acres of pond. It offers beautiful scenery, inspiring artistic meeting places and recreational possibilities.
